There are some unique rules made up by the show's creator and staff, such as: you are NOT allowed to let off during a run (must be ALL OUT every time), you cannot return to pits, you can't stop on return as they have people stationed on return road to make sure you get back to staging lanes immediately after each round win, if you go too quick or too slow as compared to your qualifying times you are disqualified (no sandbagging).
Eastern Iowa Novas "Cruise to the Muddy"
We currently have 50 members throughout eastern Iowa and surrounding states that are owners and enthusiasts of 1962 through 1979 Chevrolet Chevy II’s and Nova’s. We have been a chapter of National Nostalgic Nova for 13 years. We hosted the 2005 NNN Nationals in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
We have meetings every other month, plan events, and participate in area activities such as car shows and cruises. A bi-monthly newsletter is printed and mailed to chapter members with meeting notes, information on upcoming events, and items to sell, buy or trade. We encourage owners and enthusiasts of these classics to join us. Annual National Nostalgic Nova membership fee is $30.00. Our Club's yearly dues is $10.00.
